1. Do not rub the wire rope with other objects during use,

3. Do a good job of checking before each use, whether it is cracked and its strength.
4. The steel wire rope must be lubricated after being used for a period of time.
5. When bundling or hoisting objects, be careful not to let the wire rope directly contact the sharp edges of the objects, and the contact should be padded with woodblock, canvas, sacks or other pads to prevent the objects from snapping. The edges and corners damage the wire rope and cause equipment and life accidents.
6. During the daily use and maintenance of the wire rope, clean the dirt on the wire rope and apply lubricating oil. When storing the wire rope, be especially careful not to contact the welding wire.
During the use of the steel wire rope, sliding friction will occur between the steel wires in the same strand between each sub-rope, especially when the steel wire rope is bent. This friction is relatively large, and the friction force can be reduced after adding lubricating oil. It is strictly forbidden to overload the wire rope during use. Generally, a comprehensive inspection or strength test must be carried out every six months.
If the method of applying grease to the reel is used, the specified qualified grease should be used. It is also used to pour thin oil on the wire rope with an oiler. These methods seem to be very lubricated in appearance, but they can only solve the temporary outer layer lubrication, but cannot solve the lubrication between the steel wire and the steel wire. Therefore, the life of the wire rope is very short. When the wear is serious, the rope needs to be replaced every two or three months, and because the outer layer of grease is a lot, it is not good for checking the wear and tear of the wire rope.
A metal core wire rope should be used when frequently hoisting high temperature objects. The wire rope should try not to contact with coal powder, slag, sand, acid, alkali, etc. Once these things stick to it, it should be cleaned up in time.
