1. Steel wire rope for mine hoist
 
Our main factors for strength loss during use are wear, corrosion and fatigue wire breakage. In general, these three factors coexist. At the same time, due to the different use conditions of various mines, the main functions of mining wire ropes are also different. Various mining wire ropes are reasonably selected according to the specific conditions and experience of the mine, and combined with the characteristics of various mining wire ropes.
1. Galvanized steel wire rope should be selected due to serious corrosion when used in wellbore with heavy water spray and high pH.
2. In mines with severe wear, it is better to use wire ropes with thicker outer steel wires to contact round strands and special-shaped strands or surface contact wire ropes.
3. When fatigue broken wire is the main reason for the damage of the wire rope, the wire rope with small diameter difference between the inner and outer layers of steel wire (filling type is the best) or the special-shaped strand wire rope can be selected.
4. The steel wire rope used for hoisting the wellbore should be multi-strand non-rotating wire rope.
5. Steel wire ropes with metal cores can be used for hoisting steel wire ropes in places such as gangue mountains with high temperature or open flames.
6. It is better to use the same-direction twisted steel wire rope for mine hoisting.
7. It is best to use sealed steel wire rope for steel wire rope tank road. If other types of steel wire ropes are used, galvanized steel wire ropes are suitable. Practice has proved that the damage of steel wire ropes for shafts is mainly caused by fatigue broken wires and corrosion, and wear is the secondary factor. The damage of steel wire ropes for inclined shafts is mainly caused by wear and corrosion. For mines with serious corrosion, corrosion and wear play a role in promoting each other.
 
Second, crane wire rope
 
1. Limit or eliminate the elastic vibration of the wire rope. In the design of the mechanism, the designer usually regards the wire rope as a rigid body, but in fact the wire rope is an elastic body. When the equipment accelerates, decelerates or brakes suddenly, the steel wire rope will store or release a part of the energy, which will cause severe vibration of the hoisting equipment. In order to increase the service life of the wire rope and improve the working performance of the overall mechanism, the elastic vibration of the wire rope should be limited or eliminated as much as possible, and the dynamic tension of the wire rope should be reduced. Only by selecting the best start and stop curves can the elastic vibration of the equipment be effectively limited during acceleration or deceleration, the damage to the wire rope can be reduced, and the reliability and comfort of the equipment can be increased.
2. It is necessary to prevent the wire rope from twisting or bending and uneven arrangement on the drum when it is installed for the first time.
3. It is necessary to avoid improper fixing measures at the end of the wire rope, incorrect direction of the main force rope at the connection between the wire rope and the wedge, the rope head at the connection with the pressure plate is too short and not bundled, the bolts are too tight or too loose, etc. At the screw connection, the number of screws is small, the spacing is unreasonable, or the selection does not match the wire rope.
4. The wear amount of the groove diameter, wrap angle and groove wall at the bottom of the diverting pulley groove should meet the regulations, otherwise the corresponding bending stress and extrusion force of the wire rope will increase.
5. The position of the pulley or hoisting drum should be kept properly, otherwise the declination angle will increase when the wire rope is wound into or out of the pulley and drum, that is, the angle between the center line of the wire rope and the plane perpendicular to the axis of the pulley or drum greater than 4 degrees.
6. The material properties of the pulley or hoisting drum should meet the specified use requirements, otherwise the extrusion stress of the wire rope will be too large.
7, to prevent wire rope skipping. If there is no anti-skip rope device on the pulley device or the gap between the anti-skip rope device and the pulley is too large, exceeding 20% ​​of the diameter of the wire rope or the rigidity of the anti-skip rope device cannot meet the requirements for use, the wire rope will skip rope and cause damage.
 
Three, steel wire rope for elevator
 
Do not use in oil-free state. Unlubricated wire rope will seriously affect the life of wire rope and traction sheave. When choosing steel wire ropes, elevator manufacturing, installation and maintenance companies choose products produced by manufacturers with complete qualification certification, perfect equipment and technology, and reliable product quality. Wear and slip between the wire rope and the traction sheave during elevator operation, pay attention to the usage.
